The City of Williamson is one of 10 West Virginia communities selected to become part of the Federal Home Loan Bank Program.

At the West Virginia Rising initiative held at the Capitol Rotunda on March 12, 2007, Governor Joe Manchin announced the 10 communities and introduced the key leaders involved in the program.

The Williamson Blueprint Team will receive free training, access to community development people, and funders all under one roof.

The Blueprint Communities program is designed to promote stronger local leadership that will serve as a catalyst for long-term growth and to encourage coordinated investment efforts in targeted areas of each community.
